We are excited to announce STA TAP’s very first 24 Hour Production!

A 24 Hour Production is exactly what it sounds like, a full musical production put together in just 24 hours! Obviously, we are not rehearsing for 24 straight hours though. The “24 hour” concept refers to the short amount of time we have to put the production together from start to finish. Students will audition, rehearse, design, and perform an entire show in an extremely fast paced and exciting process.

 

This is meant to be a fun way to bring our cast and crew back together one last time this year and see what we can accomplish in just a few short days!

PRODUCTION DETAILS:

• Students will use microphones, lighting, and theater production elements just like our regular TAP productions.
• Students will use our current prop, costume, and set inventory to put the show together.
• Scripts will remain backstage during the performance process so students can review lines and music before scenes.
• Tickets will be $5 at the door.
• Concessions will be limited for this production.

 

FOOD & SNACKS:

• Students should pack snacks/food for Thursday and Friday rehearsals.
• Students should pack a lunch on Saturday just like a normal school day.
• Pizza will be provided for all students on Saturday evening.

 

PARTICIPATION FEES:

Grades 4–7 Performer Fee: $35

8th Grade Production Team Fee: $15
(This fee helps cover production licensing/rights.)

 

8TH GRADE PRODUCTION TEAM:

Our 8th grade students are invited to participate behind the scenes as part of the production team!

 

8th graders may assist with:
• Assistant Directing
• Choreography
• Costumes
• Props
• Set Design
• Stage Crew
• Marketing & Social Media Content

 

Volunteer parents will help oversee each production area. Please email us if you're interested in lending a hand during the what will most likely be 4 stressful days:)
